Since its the day where all eyes are on our little Island (unless your vision is impaired by a severe level of intoxication) I thought I would post up some pictures of how I spent my day.
What did a Irish man, living in a rural part of Ireland spend St Patricks day doing?
Why washing and waxing his car of course !
Now to go meet some friends for a few drinks

All in all , a very good day !
Also side note If I hear one more person calling it "Patty's day" I will punch them :)

Why thank you. Its taken a long time to get it to look this simple and understated.

Well, I will profile a "Patty" to give you a better understanding.

Patty is a middle aged elementary school math teacher, she drives a Toyota Corolla, She is mildly obese and she refuses to wear glasses even though she needs to. Her boyfriend works at the local Sports Store, he never shows up to work, and is a frequent alcoholic.

Now, you see Patty is a lesbian. She is in the closet still, and doesn't want to tell her husband about it. I mean, it's pretty obvious, she has short hair, and does not shave her legs.

I don't understand it either, I guess that since it is supposed to be an abbreviation for Patrick, But why not just say Patrick, it's just a little bit longer.

And no, I am not drunk.

Your profile of "Patty" seems very similar to how I would profile a Patty.

Patty here is a single female in her mid fifties. She drives a low powered diesel Hatchback. Something mid-nineties and dreary. Possibly an old peugeot or a fiat.
No matter what car she drives she will have at least two missing hubcaps and paint fade. She is awful at hill starts and stalls far too often
She spends a lot of time driving to her sisters, whom is also single and has bad ankles.
Her sister can't drive. Due to her ankles, Yet she dislikes busses.
Patty never buys brand name, far too expensive.
Patty smokes cheap cigarettes and buys too many lottery tickets and worked as a school secretary for 12 years before retiring , even though she was forcibly let go due drinking on the job.
It gets me ( and 90% of the Irish Population) because the shortened version of Patrick is Paddy, taken from the Irish for Patrick.
